Dalits’ memorandum

KATHMANDU: Representatives of Society for Liberation of Oppressed Castes, Nepal, met Speaker Subas Nembang at his office on Wednesday and handed over a four-point memorandum to him. Friendship panel

BHAKTAPUR: The first general meeting of the Nepal-India Friendship Association, Bhaktapur, has formed a new executive panel under the chairmanship of Ratna Prasad Prajapati. The executive committee has Laxminarayan Silpakar, Delram Prajapti, Shreekrishna KC, Krishna Bahadur Duwal as vice chairmen, secretary, assistant secretary and treasurer. — RSS

Leprosy-free district

BHAKTAPUR: The Bhaktapur District Public Health Office has declared Bhaktapur district a “leprosy-free district”. As no leprosy patients have been found in Bhaktapur, the district health office decided to declare it the leprosy-free district. — RSS
