Vandalism flayed

KATHMANDU: The National Gathering Organising Committee of Loktantrik Madhesi Sangathan (LMS) on Saturday flayed the vandalism of statutes of Manmohan Adhikari, BP Koirala, Ganeshman Singh and Bhanubhakta Acharya. The LMS has also demanded that the interim constitution be amended. The statement further said a single election system should be incorporated which should adopt the provision of single election system. The statement has further demanded a federal state. — HNS

Blood donation

KATHMANDU: The Rehdon Alumni Association on Saturday organised a blood donation programme at the Rehdon College, Samakhusi. Altogether 85 people including students, teaches and staffs donated blood. According to a press release, Mahendra Bista, general secretary of Federation of Nepalese Journalist highlighted the importance of blood donation. — HNS
