Trio felicitated

BHAKTAPUR: The Oxford Practical Secondary School felicitated senior novelist Diamond Shumsher Rana, litterateur Ujwol JC and sculptor Govindanarayan Jyapu, amidst a function organised here on Monday. The trio was honoured for their contribution in the field of art and literature. Soldier hurt in clash

KATHMANDU: Tek Bahadur Gurung, a soldier of the Kali Bahadur Battalion at Suparetar in Makwanpur, was critically injured in a clash with locals in his village, Mulchok-8 of Gorkha district, on Saturday. According to the Public Relations Directorate of the army, a local, Suk Bahadur Gurung, was also injured in the clash. The injured duo are undergoing treatment in Bir Hospital. While the Gorkha District Police Office said two persons have been held in this connection, the police office at Bhachek has held four others for interrogation. — RSS
