Yoga training

LALITPUR: A week-long Yoga training by Prof Dr Uma Kanta Roy, a disciples of Guru Ram Dev, concluded here on Friday. Around 300 locals participated in the programme organised by the Friends Club Kopundole. The training took place at Gurudwara of Hanumansthan. Addressing the concluding programme on Friday, Ratna S Rana, the president of the club, said that the teachings of Roy should be expanded, as it is easy and useful for stressed minds. — HNS

Workshop organised

KATHMANDU: The mass communication guidelines which would be useful for Nepal is set to be developed. In this connection, a two-day workshop organised by the Nepal Press Institute ended here on Friday. Journalists of various media in the capital attended the workshop organised with the assistance of British Embassy and the Caledonia Media Institutes of Britain. — RSS

Bijukchhe’s appeal

BHAKTAPUR: Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party Central President Narayan Man Bijukchhe has stressed on fair politics for the betterment of the country and people. He expressed this view at a programme organised by the Bashu Higher Secondary School on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1127. He said the bad politics would get space in the country if fair politics is not practiced. He said that the teachers should be good and honest in preparing educated, good and able citizens for the country. — RSS
