IN BRIEF

Plea for consensus

Kathmandu: Experts on Friday called on all political parties to rise above petty interests to take the peace process to a logical conclusion. Speaking at an interaction programme, experts urged the leaders to end inter-party conflicts by forging consensus to convert the dream of a ‘New Nepal’ into reality. Conflict analyst Dr Bishnu Raj Upreti said, “Indulgence in inter and intra-party conflict will do nothing but tarnish the image of the leaders in the public eyes.”— HNS
