Health camp held

LALITPUR: The Minister of State for Health and Population, Mani Lama, inaugurated a free health camp organised jointly by the Gorkha Hospital and Research Centre and the National Buddhist Federation, at Subarna Chhatrapur Bihar at Lubhu VDC here on Thursday. Doctors from Bir Hospital, Maternitiy Hospital, Kanti Children’s Hospital and Gorkha Hospital rendered their services on gynecology, general medicine, skin diseases, arthritis and others. Medicines worth Rs 500,000 were provided free of cost at the camp organised with the assistance of the Ministry. — RSS

Training for officials

BHAKTAPUR: A two-day voter list registration officers’ training organised to systemize the existing voters’ list, began here on Wednesday. Chief District Officer Basanta Raj Bhattarai said the officers should play an important role to reduce errors committed earlier while maintaining the list. Some 75 members from local bodies participated in the training. — RSS
