KATHMANDU: The Valley Traffic Police Office (VTPO), Ramshahpath, said on Wednesday that four motorcycles were stolen from the Valley on Tuesday. But the VTPO managed to recover a taxi stolen from Chabahil on Tuesday, the VPTO said. — HNS

German injured

LALITPUR: Eighteen-year-old German national Chris Rando, a temporary resident of Bhainsepati, was injured on Wednesday when the motorcycle he was riding collided a microbus at Nakkhuchowk, Lalitpur Sub-metropolitan City-4. Rondo has been admitted to B & B Hospital at Gwarko with a fractured right leg, police said. — HNS

Drive against pilferage

BHAKTAPUR: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Bhaktapur Distribution Centre, has intensified actions against the widespread pilferage of electricity in the district. According to in-charge of NEA, Bhaktapur, Rameshwor Prasad Kalwar, the centre has collected revenue of about Rs 2.98 million from the fines slapped on 173 defaulters since last July to mid-February. He said leakage is likely to be controlled in days ahead.— RSS
