King gets Yagyopavit

KATHMANDU: On the occasion of the Rishi Tarpani, the King received the nutan yagyopavit or sacred thread at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace on Friday. The King also received the rakshya sutra (sacred amulet) from Bada Gurujyu Janardanraj Pandey, Nayav Bada Gurujyu Dr Madhav Bhattarai, and other gurus and purohits. — RSS

TIKATHALI: The auspicious birthday civic main celebration committee held a health camp to mark the 78th birthday of Queen Mother Ratna on Friday.
