KATHMANDU: The King has, in accordance with the constitution of the kingdom of Nepal 1990, appointed Prajwalla Shumsher JB Rana as Nepali ambassador to France. The King also appointed Abulleis Thakurai as Nepali ambassador to Saudi Arabia. This is stated in notices issued by the press secretariat of the King on Sunday. — RSS

Poet’s death condoled

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Education Council has expressed condolence over the unexpected demise of poet Binaya Rawal in a road accident. The council has also extended condolence to the bereaved family of Rawal.
