CIAA bid to check graft

Kathmandu: Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lalit Bahadur Limbu, said at a programme on Tuesday that the corruption watchdog is working to fulfil the wish of the King and the expectation of the common people. “We are doing our best to make our officials more competent,” Limbu said at the concluding session of a week-long basic training on corruption control for CIAA officials. —HNS

Minister heads meeting

KATHMANDU: Minister for General Administration Krishna Lal Thakali headed the meeting of administration improvement committee held at the ministry on Monday.
