Baby dies in Duwakot fire

KATHMANDU: One-year-old baby Sandeep Khadka, the son of Bal Bahadur Khadka of Ramechhap, died on Wednesday when fire broke out all of a sudden in a hut in Duwakot-6, Bhaktapur. —HNS

Anti-trafficking Day

Kathmandu: A rally was organised on Thursday to mark the third Anti-trafficking Day. The rally that began from Bhrikuti Mandap passed through Bhadrakali, Shahid Gate, New Road, Indra Chowk, Ason, Ratna Park, and concluded at Bhrikuti Mandap. Six hundred schoolchildren and labourers from carpet industries and small hotels in Kathmandu participated in the rally. —HNS
