KATHMANDU, AUGUST 17

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has received an official invitation to visit India. On behalf of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri extended the invitation to PM Oli on Sunday.

Misri, who arrived in Kathmandu for a two-day visit, paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister at his office in Singha Durbar, where he handed over the invitation letter. PM's Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal shared this information.

During the meeting, the two discussed a wide range of issues, including high-level exchanges, bilateral relations, and matters of mutual interest.

The date of the visit has not yet been formally announced. It is understood that the schedule will be finalized and made public through mutual agreement between the diplomatic channels of the two countries.
