Indian, Chinese ambassadors call on PM
KATHMANDU: Ambassadors from India and China for Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri and Yu Hong, respectively, called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba separately at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu today.
The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Indian Ambassador focused on further consolidating the mutual interests and bilateral relations existing between the two neighbouring countries.
Likewise, the meeting with the Chinese Ambassador was, too, focused on the discussions about further strengthening the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation, the OPMCM said.
These are the first meetings of the ambassadors with Prime Minister Deuba since he was elected to the post on June 6, 2017.
