Indian delegation meets IGP Gurung

Kathmandu, January 7:

The Inter-ministerial team of India today met Inspector General of Nepal Police Hem Bahadur Gurung on Wednesday aiming to help expand the avenues of National Police Academy and improve the bilateral relations.

According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, the team led by joint-director of Indian Police Service, Santosh Marchela, and comprising director of National Crime Records Bureau, Naseer Kamal, O S Ashok and director at the Foreign Ministry C Gururaj Rao arrived in Kathmandu yesterday.

The meeting discussed on the infrastructure development of National Police Academy and providing training to the police as well as enhancing the relations between the two police organisations.
