KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 5

External Affairs Minister of India, Dr S Jaishankar, has returned home today, wrapping up his two-day Nepal visit.

Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal bade farewell to External Affairs Minister Jaishankar at Tribhuvan International Airport.

The Indian External Affairs Minister arrived here on Thursday at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Prakash Saud.

He participated in the seventh meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission.

All aspects of bilateral cooperation including development partnership were reviewed in the meeting. Similarly, both sides exchanged different important agreements and memorandums of understanding in presence of Foreign

Minister of Nepal and External Affairs Minister of India after the meeting.

The External Affairs Minister of India held separate meetings with President Ramchandra Paudel, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' as well as other top leaders of the political parties during his stay in Nepal.
