KATHMANDU: Indian Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj met with CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal this morning on the second day of her two-day official visit to Nepal.

During the meet, Swaraj complemented Chair Dahal on the performance of CPN MC in the recent elections.

The two leaders also discussed steps to further deepen the bilateral relations between Nepal and India.

The Indian Minister is scheduled to call on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and have a lunch meeting with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba before flying back to New Delhi at around 4:00 pm.
