DULIKHEL: A fire broke out in a hut with metal roof killing a person sleeping inside in Panauti Municipality-5 of Kavre district on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as a construction worker Sujit Jaiswal, an Indian national.

Police presumed that the hut caught fire from the heater Jaiswal had kept on while sleeping inside, near a poultry farm in Mizar Tole, at 11:00 pm yesterday, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Mahendra Prasad Marasini, at the District Police Office, Dhulikhel.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
