KATHMANDU: An Indian National, who allegedly attempted to rape a 13-year-old girl at Jarankhu in Tarkeshwor Municipality-8 has been arrested on Monday, police said.

The suspect is 18-year-old Mohammad Aarif of Madhubani in Bihar State in India, according to police.

Police said Aarif attempted to rape a minor at a rented room in the area on Friday.

Meanwhile, the investigation is underway.
