KATHMANDU: A youth has been arrested in possession of a sharp knife from Pipalbot in Narephant, Koteshwor of Kathmandu, on Thursday.

Police said Keshav Regmi (27) of Chilaune-6 in Sipali of Kavre district was heavily intoxicated while police found him brandishing the sharp weapon.

He was detained with the help of locals.

Earlier, he had a dispute while drinking together with his friends and enraged Regmi had threatened to stab them with the knife.

Police said they are looking into the case.
