Interim govt soon: Gyawali

Kathmandu, March 11:

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Pradeep Gyawali today said that the present state of crisis and confusion would be ended after the formation of an interim government.

“The transitional period is going to end as soon as the interim government is formed in a week or two,” he said at a felicitation programme organised by Gulmeli Samaj today.

He also said that though the country is expecting lots of things from the Maoists, they are still under suspicion for majority of the people because of their behaviour and way of talking.

“Still, we have to believe that the Maoists’ sincerity will provide a solution to all the present confusions,” he added.

He said it was not the time to enjoy the achievements of the Jana Andolan II, as “regressive forces are trying to disrupt the ongoing peace process”.

“It is amazing that the same forces, which ruled the country in the name of one-language-one-religion policy, are now guiding the people to fight with each another over the same agenda,” he said.
