IoE students’ stir plan

Kathmandu, July 21:
Demanding implementation of admission procedure and cancellation of the registration of new campuses, engineering students today announced further protest programmes from tomorrow. The students will bar the dean and assiatant dean of the IoE from using their official vehicles and mobiles; submit a memorandum to the Tribhuvan University’s vice-chancellor on July 22 and announce more protest programmes on July 24 following a protest meeting. The students have locked up the office of the dean and admission committee of the institute from July 19 to protest the institute’s decision to provide affiliation to new engineering
colleges without fulfilling all criteria. The students accused the IoE of not following the standard admission procedure and providing information on admission quotas in the IoE affiliated campuses.
