KATHMANDU: A jailbird,doing time on corruption charges in Dillibazaar Prison died while undergoing treatment at Bansbari-based Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre on Friday.

Police said Sher Bahadur Thapa, 67, of Kathmandu-15, was admitted to the hospital last week for treatment of cardiac disease. He was also suffering from kidney ailments.
