Kathmandu: Japan on Tuesday said it has approved the utilisation of counterpart fund worth Rs 50 million for the implementation of cooperative farming-based samll irrigation schemes and subsidy for seeds and chemical fertilisers. The fund was provided by Japan to increse agricultural yield under its grant assistance for underprivileged farmers.
