Dr Kashi Raj Upadhaya passed away today at the age of 78. Born in 1927 AD at Varanasi, Upadhaya is survived by three sons and a daughter. Dr Upadhaya was honoured with the Gorkha Dakshin Bahu in 2019 BS and was also a member of the Raj Sabha Standing Committee. Upadhaya served as assistant minister and representative of the Rastriya Praja Parisad in 2014 BS. Dr Upadhaya was also appointed zonal commissioner for the Seti, Gandaki and Koshi zones from 2018 – 2024 BS. Dr Upadhaya was awarded numerous medal as well. He was also the founder chairman of the All-Nepal Natural Cure Association and a founder-member and professor at the College for International Languages.
