KATHMANDU: The British Journal of Education Leadership has honoured Assistant Professor at the Kathmandu University, Dr Prakash Chandra Bhattarai, with the 'Most Commendable Award' under Emerald EFMD-2015 Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards.

A worldwide competition was held among doctoral research scholars and Bhattarai was selected for the award. The award was announced on April 13 in London.

Before this, the Consortium for the Study of Leadership and Ethics in Education of America also awarded Bhattarai with 'Paul Begley Award-2015' for the best thesis of the year.

Dr Bhattarai did his PhD from Kathmandu University School of Education on 'Ethical leadership' last year.
