KCM Student Council anniversary marked

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) celebrated the anniversary of its Student Council on the college premises, Gwarko recently. This year’s celebration ranged from distributing cakes to every class to a marvellous celebration comprising exhilarating events organised by the KCM Clubs.

The Student Council, officially established in 2003, is a mediator between the management and the students. The Council consists of 27 members, six from each batch of Bachelor’s level. It runs under the presidency of an eligible elected person.

The Council also supervises and coordinates with the KCM Clubs to organise events. One of the events organised was Treasure Hunt by Carrier Club — in the game, the clues to be solved were hidden in an orderly manner all around the campus.

Meanwhile, JA Forum Club put up a photo booth and the customers were also provided with fancy props of their choice to take pictures.

The Social Welfare Club organised ‘pani puri race’ and a talent show named ‘I-express’ was conducted by Arts Club and Sports Club in collaboration. The Publication Club put up a stall that sold batches, stickers and book marks with pictures or text.

The fun-filled celebration ended with the most awaited party that started at 6:00 pm.
