KATHMANDU, JUNE 5
The High Commissioner of the Republic of Kenya, Ambassador Peter Maina Munyiri, presented his credentials to the President of Nepal, Ram Chandra Paudel, at a ceremony held at the Presidential Office, Sheetal Niwas, on Monday.
The presentation took place in the presence of Chandra Tandan, Honorary Consul of Kenya to Nepal.

Later the same day, Ambassador Munyiri officially inaugurated the Consulate General Office of Kenya on the fourth floor of the City Express Complex in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
A special event was organized by Honorary Consul Tandan to mark the occasion. During the program, both countries reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening trade ties and expanding cooperation in cultural and other sectors.

Chandra Tandan, who also serves as the founder of City Express Money Transfer, has been involved in the remittance sector in Nepal for the past 18 years.
