Khusibu dead identified, probe team formed
Kathmandu, April 21:
The police said today that the bodies found dead at an apartment in the Khusibu town planning were of Anil, Sunil and Sujan Bajracharya.
“After questioning the house-owner, Laxman Rajopadhyay, Gyanendra Bajracharya, father of the three, tenants of the house and neighbours, we came to the conclusion that the bodies were of Anil, Sunil and Sujan,” said a police inspector. Meanwhile, a four-member panel headed by DIG at the Crime Investigation Department, KB Rana, has been formed to probe the mystery deaths of the three.
The deaths continued to be shrouded in mystery with a medical report stating that there were neither bruises nor injury marks in the bodies of the three brothers. The report also ruled out poisoning. The bodies were kept at the TU Teaching Hospital.
Gyanendra Bajracharya, who visited the hospital today, confirmed the dead were his sons, police said. “We have nothing new to disclose as of now,” said an SSP at Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Upendra Aryal.
