Kidnappers nabbed
KATHMANDU: The Metropolitan Police Circle Swoyambhu on Wednesday arrested two women for allegedly holding young girls captive ‘to traffic them to India and engage them in circus and other hazardous works’. DSP Bimal Raj Kandel, MPC in-charge said, Rosy Lama (20) of Nuwakot and Parvati Jargha Magar (18) of Gulmi had held the girls aged 10-15 years in their rented room at Machhapokhari before police rescued the victims unharmed and arrested the suspects on Wednesday. They have been charged with kidnapping and hostage-taking.
