Lalitpur: Floral tributes were paid to late King Birendra at his statue at Jawalakhel on Saturday.

The memorial meet organised by the King Birendra Peace Foundation was held amidst security provisions today.

The people who had gathered around the statue had to hurry while offering bouquets and flowers to pay tributes.

The memorial meet that used to be held for hours in the past concluded within two minutes on Saturday.
