Kirat party’s threat

KATHMANDU: The Kirat Janabadi Workers' Party has warned Home Minister Bhim Rawal of grave consequences if he failed to roll back his decision to list the party as a criminal group. It stated that the people would take physical action against him if he labelled political parties as armed outfits or criminal groups. "The government has declared 109 rebellious groups as armed outfits and is planning to spend Rs 5 billion to buy arms in the name of taking action against them," read the statement. "This is a conspiracy. We are shocked that our party has been enlisted as a criminal group. Our party is a genuine political party," adds the statement.
