Kathmandu, June 28:
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) today started demolishing a building belonging to the Nepal Electricity Authority at Ratnapark to resume construction of an overhead bridge.
The construction work was stalled due to KMC’s conflict with the NEA as the latter refused to provide the land it is occupying. “The construction works will resume by Friday after demolition of the structures is completed,” said Sanjay Raj Upadhyay, head of the Public Works Department at the KMC.
