Kathmandu: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Sunday arrested Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s engineer Sushil Chapagain red-handed while accepting Rs 10,000 bribe from a service-seeker.

According to CIAA Spokesperson Padam Prasad Pandey, a team deployed from the Chaulagain had demanded bribe from the service-seeker for  providing certificate of completion of house construction.

Pandey said they came to know that Chapagain demanded Rs 15,000 from but later settled for Rs 10,000. — HNS
