Koirala leaves for treatment
KATHMANDU: Ailing veteran leader and Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala on Saturday morning along with his doctors left for Singapore for a medical treatment. Koirala is accompanied by three doctors including Man Bahadur KC and Geju Pokharel, a nurse and a staff member. Meanwhile, Koirala's cousin Shekar Koirala and personal secretary Shekar Thapa left for Singapore on Thursday to make arrangements for the treatment. The doctors attending Koirala said that the purpose of the trip was to make further investigation into his health condition. A large number of supporters bade farewell to Koirala at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
