Korea-Nepal Art Education meet begins

Lalitpur, May 21:

The second Korea-Nepal Culture and Art Education workshop began here today with an aim to exchange culture, art and education between the two countries.

School Forum Nepal and The Youth Cultural Group, PUM of Korea are organising the five-day workshop.

Organisers said the workshop aims at creating an environment for development of culture, art and education.

More than 75 Nepali teachers and artists along with members of PUM, Korea are taking part in the workshop and will receive training on modification of the traditional education system in Nepal, the organiser said.

Speaking at the inauguration of the workshop, Nam Sang Jung, Ambassador of Republic of Korea to Nepal, said, “The programme will strengthen bilateral relations between Korea and Nepal.” He also stressed on the need for sharing culture and art experiences between the two countries.
