Korean language test results only after polls

Kathmandu, March 22:

The results of the language test of Korean job aspirants will be published only after the election to the constituent assembly.

Issuing a press release today, the Election Commission said it has given permission to Employee Permit System under the Department of Labour and Employment Promotion, to conduct the test on March 29 on the condition that the results will be published only after the election. The EC had written to the department, seeking details of the examination, to find out whether the test itself or publication of results will have any impact on the polls. After getting reply from the department, the EC decided to let the EPS conduct the test on the condition that the results are published after the polls.

Around 32,000 Nepalis have applied for the test, which must be passed for selection for job in South Korea.
