Vehicular traffic on the Kulekhani-Sisneri-Chhaimale- Dakshinkali road has been closed for an indefinite period from today. The road links Hetauda and Kathmandu.
The road has been closed for carrying out upgrading works like construction of RCC, drains and black-topping, said Pratap Bhomjan, Chairman of Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3. He said the traffic would be closed until the black-topping works are completed.
The Sisneri section of Kulekhani-Sisneri-Chhaimale-Dakshinkali Road was closed for construction works before this from the second week of this month.
The Ward Office said vehicular traffic on the road had to be closed until the completion of the black-topping works, as jeeps and microbuses started operating before the conclusion of the road upgrading works, hampering the construction.
