KATHMANDU: Minister for Labour and Employment, Dipak Bohara, has extended best wishes to all workers on the occasion of International Labour Day. He wished for peace, prosperity and happiness of the entire labour community. “Nepal government is always committed to protecting the rights of workers and guaranteeing their social security,” he said, informing that a bill on labour and social security was tabled in the Parliament recently. Minister Bohara also appealed to all to work for the development of the country. According to him, the government was committed to effectively utilising remittance, making foreign employment systematic and creating job opportunities within the country.
