LALITPUR:

The Lalitpur DDC announced its proposed budget of Rs 84.04 million, for the fiscal year 2006-07. The DDC collected Rs 64.14 million from taxes, royalties and spent Rs 54.47 million in the fiscal year 2005-2006.

Rs 3.85 million has been allocated for the construction of roads in the six VDCs, whereas agricultural roads have been allocated Rs 16 million and rural road maintenance has been allocated Rs 6.6 million. Rs 1.4 million and Rs 5.8 million have been allocated for rural water supply and sanitation plans.
