KATHMANDU: The Notary Public Council today decided to take actions against six notary public and advocates accused of exercising unauthorised rights and even preparing fake court verdicts.

The council headed by Attorney General Dr Bharat Bahadur Karki has sought

explanations from notary public and advocates Ram Prasad Dawadi, Birendra Siwakoti, Chitra Bahadur Trikhatri, Dilhari Sharma, BP Dhakal and Shanti Lal Niroula for their involvement in fraudulent activities.

The council also referred the case to Nepal Bar Association and Nepal Police to investigate the charges against them and to take action.
