Leader Nepal blames NC for disrespecting people’s mandate
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has blamed Nepali Congress for disrespecting the people’s mandate.
Speaking at a programme organised in the Capital to congratulate him on his parliamentary election victory, leader Nepal said, “Nepali Congress has been bringing up unnecessary issues to stay in power without giving an outlet for the formation of a new government as per people’s mandate.”
He further stressed that all political parties should be involved in the implementation of the new constitution.
Stating that the state would be run by adopting honesty and zero tolerance policy in corruption, the former Prime Minister expressed his view that a new episode of development construction would begin.
“Prosperity and development are not far if we carry out activities with honesty.”
Speaking on a different note, he also urged the general public not to be doubtful about the unification between CPN-UML and CPN Maoist Centre.
