Literacy drive to be monitored
Madhyapur Thimi, Feb 5:
The Non-Formal Education Centre (NFEC) has planned to monitor the achievements and flaws of the National Literacy Campaign, which was launched on January 14.
The ambitious campaign aims at educating some 7.8 million illiterate people within two years.
Sushil Pandey, director, NFEC, said the centre was all set to send a team of experts to the districts to assess the campaign. He claimed that 58 districts have already begun literacy classes.
