Load shedding slashed to 51.5 hours a week

KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the state-owned power utility, has slashed the load shedding hours to 51.5 hours per week from Thursday.

The power outage now will be for over seven hours per day, on average.

Prior to this, the nation was facing load shedding for nine hours a day.
