KATHMANDU: Joanna Lumley, the famous British TV actress, on Monday called on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and Minister for Foreign Affairs (FM) Sujata Koirala separately.

During her meeting with Koirala, Lumley was praised for her role in the legal battle on equality of British and Gurkhas in the British regiment. Koirala said that her moral support helped the ex-Gurkhas acquire residential rights in England.
