Madhesi Front postpones meeting

KATHMANDU: The United Democratic Madhesi Front's meeting called to  review progresses made in talks with the government and major parties was postponed for Saturday.

Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party senior leader Ram Naresh Raya told THT Online over phone that the meeting was postponed due to 'busy schedule of top leaders'.

It has been learned that the meeting was postponed as the top UDMF leaders were scheduled to meet United Nations Under Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffery D Feltman, who is in Kathmandu currently.

The meeting would be held tomorrow and it would prepare further strategies of the agitating alliance, according to Raya.
