Kathmandu, August 22:

Newly appointed Minister for Information and Communications Krishna Bahadur Mahara assumed office on Friday.

Minister Mahara was welcomed by Secretary at the Ministry Information and Communications Yubaraj Pandey, high-ra-nking officers and heads of departments and corporations under the ministry. At the programme, Mahara said that the Constituent Asembly has converted Nepal into federal democratic republic and the new government is committed to writing the new constitution on time. According to Mahara, PM Prachanda would address the nation on Saturday.
