Youth associations in the valley have organised various corner meetings in different parts of the capital, calling for massive participation and success of the extensive all-party mass meeting scheduled for Friday at the Open Theatre.

At a corner meeting held here on Wednesday, Ajambar Rai Kang Mang from the Democratic National Youth Federation (DNYF) Nepal, Bheeshma Raj Aangdembe Limbu from Tarun Dal and Girija Nanda Jha from National Democratic Youth Federation (NDYF) presented their speeches.

Similarly, at another corner meeting held here on Monday, Narayan Pandey from DNYF, Basudev Jangali from Tarun Dal and Prem Shrestha from NDYF spoke. At yet another corner meeting, Prem Maharjan from DNYF, Anil Krishna Prasai from Tarun Dal and Kalendra Vikram Shahi from NDYF presented their speeches.

All speakers appealed to those present at the meetings to be present at the mass meeting slated for Friday, to promote solidarity. They also emphasised on the urgency of a dialogue between the government and Maiosts.
