KATHMANDU: Police on Friday arrested a man in possession of a pistol from a street of Lainchaur in KMC-29.

The arrested has been identified as Buddhibal  Angbo aka 'Limbu' (22) of Mangalbare in Ilam district, currently residing in Lainchaur.

The security personnel on duty had frisked him upon suspicion while he was roaming about the street near his resident, police said.

Police later raided his room and found a pistol along with two laptops and three mobile phones from a bag.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
