KATHMANDU: A man allegedly involve in a theft case was caught with the stolen amount of Rs. 1 million by the Metropolitan Police Range, today.

The suspect has been identified as Samir Gurung (38) of Tyangkimanang-9, Manang. He was staying at a hotel Siddhi Guesthouse in Tokha Municipality-13.

Police told that they nabbed Gurung when he was found involved in a theft case in a rented room of Bijaya Chaudhary in Chandol, KMC-4 on September 18.

The investigations revealed that he has been involved in many other cases of property crimes.

Police are investigating into the case.
