KATHMANDU: A person died while two others were injured when a truck carrying bricks skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Intakhel, Shankarapur Mununicipality-7 on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Raj Kumar Tamang (22) of Deupur-7, Kavre, driver of the ill-fated truck (Ba 3 Kha 8692).

The accident occurred due to brake failure, said police.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the People’s Lifecare Hospital, Sankhu and are said to be out of danger.
